Section 6. The fiscal year of the association shall run from October 1st to September 30th.

 

Section 7. Speakers with subjects of special interest may be introduced to the board of directors or the general membership by the president, such as City Council, Police, Fire Department etc.

 

ARTICLE IX- COMMITTEES  

 

The Board of Directors shall transact necessary business in the intervals between regurar meetings and other such business as may be referred to it by being an association, and shall appoint all committees and approve the work of such committees.

 

ARTICLE X- PARLIAMENTARY AUTHORITY

 

When not inconsistent with the bi-laws, Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised shall be the parliamentary authority for all matters of procedure. These rules may be suspended at any meeting.

 

ARTICLE XI - AMENDMENT OF BYLAWS

 

These bylaws may be amended by a two-thirds majority of the membership present and voting provided that there has been thirty days prior written notice to the membership of the proposed amendment. Otherwise.an amendment shall require a three fourths vote of the entire membership.
